I worked as a fisherman, a boatman, and at one time a Bosun on a square rigged sailing ship. I also spent some years as a ‘scenic artist’ working in television and commercials before the advent of “CG”.

I was brought up on the waterfront of Whitstable when it still had the last of the local shipyards and fisherman’s huts working. I produce framed boxes depicting the beach huts and buildings that typify our Kent coast and wanted to make the beach a main part. The materials are all recycled or upcycled. I am a frequent visitor to Deal as I am naturally drawn to the beach and the boats. Similar sights and smells from my past!
