My name is Elaine and I have been knitting and sewing from an early age.

I have knitted everything from jumpers for my children to Dr Who scarves and Kaffe Fassett diamond pattern jackets. More recently I have contributed to a knitted village that was exhibited at the national Knit and Stitch Show, and designed a tea cosy that was chosen for inclusion in a book of new designs. I am currently knitting scarves by combining yarns of various textures together, and I am knitting rugs that use loom end offcuts and are worked on extra large needles.

I am also working on a range of Upcycled items that give a new life to second hand goods such as fabrics and ceramics. These are being transformed into bunting, pin cushions, lavender bags and other colourful decorative items.
