“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us” .Ralph Waldo Emerson

As an Artist/craftsperson I have always the known that the materials incorporated in each piece of work are the ‘life force’ of that item.
I like to experiment and discover new methods and outcomes that surprise.

My inspiration mainly comes from the ocean, boats, flora and fauna and architecture.

Each object/painting is a one off (some I make prints of), comprising of both invented and borrowed images. Compositions go through a multi layered series of processes. I often used leaf metals over Gesso as a background for the leaf metals being used before etching, sanding or overlaying and object .

I also run, decorative arts courses in the spring and summer. If you are interested please drop me an email at:- eaglevision3@protonmail.ch
