I have been making bears for collectors as a hobby for the past 15 years from my home in Deal. It all started when a colleague showed me a bear she had made and I wondered if I could make one. So after much reading and practice, I made a bear I was happy with and Love Leigh Bears was born.

All my bears are hand sewn and range from the traditional 5 way cotter pin jointed bear with English glass eyes and Ultrasuede paws made from Helmbold or Steiff Shulte mohair to bears made from felt and fabric.

Because of the small parts used, the bears are unsuitable to give to children but are ideal as keepsakes.
