Katherine Turner is a contemporary oil painter, specialising in seascapes and water scenes. She lives in Canterbury and one of her favourite places to be is the beach, so most of her paintings are inspired by Kent seas

She loves to use bold and bright colours in her work, and likes her paintings to have depth and expression. Recently she has been combining abstract with her love for realism. Her passions are sunsets, colour and movement.

Katherine has also written and illustrated various children’s books, including ‘Daddy’s Brilliant Beard,’ and ‘The A-Z of Me.’
